DAVE & JO WHITNEY'S TRAVELS

Hi there, welcome to our website. What you will find here, where we hope you find something of interest, is a collection of travelogues with photos covering the countries below. The majority of them are cycling trips as we are keen cyclists but we also like walking so there are a few of those in New Zealand and Nepal. Since taking early retirement in 1997 the trips have tended to get longer especially when we flee these U.K shores to avoid the worst of an English winter.

Update November 2008

We are just about ready to head off again; this time to Thailand,Laos & Cambodia and possibly Vietnam. We fly to Bangkok on Dec 9th and after returning to Bangkok we fly to Beijing on Feb 22nd and then catch the Trans-Mongolian train to Moscow where we fly back home on March 4th.
